Norris graduated from Kaplan University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health and Wellness with an in-depth study of exercise physiology, herbs, and spirituality.
After losing his father, sister, and aunt from heart disease and type2 diabetes due to obesity he vowed that he will not be another victim of a developmental disease from living an unhealthy life style and take as many people as he can on the path to health and wellness. This is when he decided to go back to school and become a personal trainer in addition to pursuing a career in natural bodybuilding.
Norris is also the founder and CEO of Optimal Life and Fitness, a non-profit organization that focus on teaching health and wellness to children and their families. Norris conducts workshops around the state of North Carolina teaching proper exercise and diet from a spiritual prospective. Norris's philosophy is “health and wellness is not just physical, but mental, physical, and spiritual”, this is called holistic training.
